Workflow explanation
- Use tags to represent membership state (Active member, Paused, Payment failed, Canceled). Keep them mutually exclusive.
- Grant access automatically via your membership/LMS integration when the Active member tag is present.
- Send welcome/login instructions right away and run a short activation sequence to reduce churn.
- Branch on billing events:
- Renewal success: receipt and continue.
- Payment failed: run a dunning sequence. If recovered, restore Active. If not, revoke access and mark as Past due/Canceled.
- Cancel or pause: confirm the request, stop content delivery, and update membership tags.
- Route edge cases into tasks (for example, manual review) instead of silently failing.
