Workflow explanation

1. When a purchase or subscription is created, apply a single source of truth tag for membership status (Active member + plan).
2. Grant access automatically (membership/course) and send login/welcome instructions immediately.
3. Run a short activation onboarding (first login, first lesson, first win) to reduce refunds and churn.
4. Handle billing events as explicit branches:
   • Renewal success: receipt and continue.
   • Payment failed: dunning sequence with clear retries and a recovery branch.
   • Cancel requested: confirm, revoke access, and stop ongoing sequences.
   • Pause requested: tag and stop content delivery until restart conditions are met.
5. Keep membership state mutually exclusive (Active, Paused, Payment failed, Canceled) so reporting and access rules never conflict.
