Workflow explanation

  1. When someone starts a trial, tag them as Trial active and send the welcome/login email immediately.
  2. Push activation early (Day 1 checklist). Most conversions depend on whether the user gets to the first win.
  3. Branch logic:
    • Activated: continue value emails and introduce the upgrade offer mid-trial.
    • Not activated: run a rescue sequence (help content, FAQs, and a support option).
  4. If they upgrade, stop all trial messaging and start paid onboarding.
  5. If they do not upgrade, run an end-of-trial urgency sequence and re-check upgrade status.
